The Journey Begins
Kabelo Hape first broke through in 2024 with the single Chipi featuring Mokoro and Snazzy B. That song hinted at his blend of sharp lyricism and contagious groove.
In late 2024 he teamed up again with producer Mokoro on two more tracks: Honey Daze and Balcony Smoke. Each release showcased a different side of Kabelo's personality – from the laid-back, dreamy vibes of Honey Daze to the introspective late-night feel of Balcony Smoke.

Despite being new on the scene, Kabelo has a clear vision. He paints pictures with sound, mixing the warm colors of African rhythm with the cool edge of modern hip-hop.
His lyrics speak of everyday stories and big dreams, drawing inspiration from local life and global beats. This journey is only beginning: in 2025 he dropped the sunny anthem Son Shine (feat. Mokoro), a bold track that reflects his stylistic confidence and hopefulness.
